The night of 4th of July we had Aunt Alisa and her friend Shannon over for dinner and fireworks. Jonathan had a little thing for Shannon, and kept showing off for her and trying to get her attention. She thought it was cute, but I bet by the end of the night she was happy to leave!:) This was the first year Jonathan really liked the fireworks. He got scared a couple times, but did really good overall. Emily, on the other hand, didn't do as well. We even started off with the quiet fireworks so she hopefully wouldn't get scared, but it didn't work. She didn't like them at all. We ended up putting her to bed about half way through the fireworks. But overall it was a great evening!!

Ian loved the fireworks too. I think all boys like fireworks. Looks like you all had a fun 4th!!
Atleast Emily is age appropriate for a fear of fireworks - Caleb is 3 1/2 and still freaks out over a sparkler! Kids are great...
